Our Team

We support the provision of rural and urban transport options for the North Waikato Community

Our Volunteers

Volunteers are a very important part to our service. They are our backbone and without them, we wouldn't be able to do what we do. We have a varied age range of volunteers, but they all do this out of the kindness of their hearts, giving their time to drive our clients to the much-needed health appointments. They will pick you up from your home, take you to your appointment on time, and get you home safe and sound for a donation.  We have a friendly, caring bunch of people here to service your essential transport needs.

Alicia Leef

Coordinator

Hi, my name is Alicia and I was raised right here in Rahui Pokeka (Huntly). It gives me great pleasure to be apart of this service and to know that we are able to support our community to get to their much-needed health appointments. I have been working for North Waikato Transport Trust (Waka Tautoko) for 2 years now and love being involved with our amazing volunteers, and the community of the Huntly, Taupiri, Ngaruawahia and surrounding towns.
